Believed to be 1,500 years old, the huge Boab Prison Tree has a girth of 14.7 metres. In former times this symbol of inhumanity was used as a place to lock up Aboriginal prisoners. Capable of holding a number of prisoners at one time, this historical monument has an entry 1 metre wide and 2 metres high.
