"Bridgedale", the first home built in the region, has been beautifully restored and is surrounded by pleasant gardens and scenic walks.

"Bridgedale" was the first house built in the town site of Bridgetown, and as such has been acquired by the National Trust of Australia. It originally stood in ten acres of freehold land purchased from the crown by John Blechynden.

Bridgetown Community Resource Centre (CRC)

The Bridgetown CRC is a not-for-profit community based organisation, run by the community, for the community. The Centre offers a wide range of services such as, high speed internet, Broadband for Senior, modern computer workstation, photocopying, printing, fax services, meeting room hire and lots more. It is also a Centrelink, Medicare and DVA agent and offers access to government information at all levels. It is part of a state wide network of Community Resource Centres.  more


The Bibbulmun Track stretches nearly 1000km's from Kalamunda to Albany

Measuring at 963km, it is Western Australia's longest walking trail. Starting in Kalamunda, near Perth, and winding it's way down south to Albany. There are sleeping shelters located all along the track.  more
