Narembeen is situated 282km east of Perth and is a sheep and wheat farming town. Population 459. Narembeen is a small town on the railway line (south-west journey).

There are a lot of purple-flowered jacaranda trees in the region, the used to aborigines use the strong, straight part of wood from these trees to make their spears.
