This is a typical wheat belt town. The attractions are the displays around the town and the natural flora and fauna. The Wildflower display occurs each year in September and October, the flowers lace the road into the town.

The Kulin Resource Centre incorporates the Telecentre, Library and Health Centre in a modern, spacious building located next to the Shire of Kulin and providing easy access to the general public from Johnston Street. Tin Horse Highway

The Tin Horse Highway in Kulin is a sight to be seen As October looms, one by one, new tin horses appear in the pasture and stubble paddocks lining the road now known as the "Tin Horse Highway" on the way to the Jilakin Race Track. Horses are made from all sorts of materials, striking all manner of poses.  more
