Fitzroy Crossing located 2,566km north-east of Perth is the gateway to the magnificent Geikie Gorge National Park and a number of other great Kimberley attractions. Population 1,119.

Fitzroy Crossing is like many of the towns in the Kimberley. Without identifiable town centres, it leaves the imagination open as there are kilometres separating the highway from the Old River Crossing, with small loosely connected houses lingering between. Fitzroy Crossing is known for its interesting stories, but the most famous being about the battle over the Noonkanbah Station.
