Norseman is the gateway to the Eyre Highway that travels across the Nullabor Plain. Norseman is located 724km east of Perth and has a population of 1,000.
Norseman is a mining town on the tip of the Nullarbor (Western Australian side). In the town there is the Norseman Historical Collection, which is located at the old School of Mines Building, this displays memorabilia which focused on the mining and household equipment from 1894 – 1920.
Mount Jimberlan, just a short drive from Norseman provides a stunning view of the area, it is adventurous climbing the rocky slopes, but is worth the view.

Norseman Visitor Centre
The Norseman Visitor Centre is the gateway centre to Western Australia and the Nullarbor. It is located just a few minutes from the intersection of the Eyre Highway and Highway 94 and is surrounded by a beautiful park with spacious parking, seating, toilets and free barbecue facilities. more

Tin Camels
These cleverly constructed, unique corrugated iron camels are on display in the large roundabout outside the post office. more
Phoenix Park
Created as a tribute to Norseman's mining history this is a wonderful array of exhibits with information signage, a restful water feature and free barbecue. It was completed in December 2001. more
