Hyden Telecentre
Information technology is the key component of a Telecentre’s purpose. However Telecentres provide many community services that cannot be received on a commercial basis plus rapid access to many state and federal government services such as employment, health, tax and many more.
Many Telecentres provide both accredited and non-accredited courses through their facilities including WA TAFE courses.
Telecentres are a non-profit organisation run by and for the community. The day to day running of a telecentre is organised by the Telecentre Coordinator who is assisted by a group of volunteers.
Such services include:
· High speed internet access
· Black & white, colour or bulk printing & paper folding
· Desktop Publishing
· Videoconferencing
· Access to Centrelink
· Access to Medicare

This rock formation is named so because of the resemblance to a hippopotamus in its cavernous mouth. You can walk right into the Hippo's mouth and crawl out the passage resembling a throat. more
