St Georges Cathedral
St George's Cathedral is located in the heart of Perth and is the principle cathedral of the Anglican province of Western Australia.Built between 1879 and 1888, Perth's Anglican cathedral replaced the earlier St George's Church built between 1841 and 1845. A simple Gothic design partly built with bricks made from clay taken from Queens Gardens.
The cathedral's peal of bells were founded as a memorial to Queen Victoria; and can be heard each Sunday before the 10am Choral Eucharist and 5pm Choral Evensong.
