Swan Valley is the oldest wine growing region in Western Australia. Located 25 minutes from Perth centre; Swan Valley is accessible via car or cruise boat, which can be sought from Barrack St Jetty in Perth. Swan Valley is most famed for its wines; of which there is a magnificent selection of international best sellers, Sandalford and Houghton, and a number of small family owned specialties. The Valley’s boutique wineries are well recognised in the award winning arena.  However, in recent times, Swan Valley wines have not been the only winners. A number of local breweries have emerged, boasting over 20 locally made brews; the organic pilsner and old fashioned porter, being voted best in Australia.

Wineries and breweries aside, Swan Valley is a beautiful location; providing a luscious backdrop of bushland, wandering waterways and rolling vines. There are many activities offered to visitors; including cycling, golf, horse riding, and wildlife observation. Engage in days of wine tasting, delicious local produce, fresh air, beautiful scenery, and historical walking trails. Swan Valley is the ideal location for a day trip or extended stay.
