Located just 55 kilometres south of Coolgardie, Burra Rocks Nature Reserve is the original sight of Woodline Dam. The reserve is a popular location for families offering great picnic spots amongst with a captivating backdrop of granite rock, surrounded by regrowth woodland.

The waters in the area are also great for swimming.

Bottle Collection

The collection is one of the largest and most comprehensive displays of antique bottles in Australia. Bottles and glassware dating from 300BC to the present day are on display. This collection has won many prizes.  more

Coolgardie

Coolgardie is an old gold-mining town in the Golden Outback, like many towns in the region they were booming during the gold rush of the 1890's but are now considerably reduced in size - Coolgardie now has a population of only 1,200.  more

Railway Station Museum

The Railway Station was built for the first train arriving from Southern Cross in March 1896. The line was closed in 1971 and the building now houses a museum.  more
