Exmouth

Exmouth lies 1,260km north of Perth, on the northern tip of the spectacular Ningaloo Reef. Boasting a summer climate all year round Exmouth is a fantastic holiday destination, especially for water based activities.

Best known for the water sports, fishing, diving, and boating options Exmouth is a beautiful area adjacent to the Ningaloo Marine Park.

Ningaloo Reef is breath-takingly beautiful and very accessible. Unlike the Great Barrier Reef, you can swim out to the Ningaloo Reef. Once on the Reef you can swim, snorkel, and scuba dive amongst the colourful varieties of fish and coral.

Ningaloo Reef also attracts many gentle giants of the sea, such as the whalesharks, dugongs, and turtles. There are many tours that operate from Exmouth that will take you out and let you swim amongst this amazing marine life.

Exmouth is a wonderful self drive destination only a day and a half north of Perth and within easy reach of Carnarvon.

Exmouth is a great stopping off point for the magnificent West Australian Outback, the Gascoyne Murchison Outback Pathways Mt Augustus (which is the largest monolith in the world), and the spectacular gorges and impressive cliffs of the Kennedy Range National Park.

Exmouth is a great place to go on your DriveWA escape. It is a destination everyone should go at least once in their life. Once you have done you will find it hard to resist going again.
