The Australian outback is a spectacular and beautiful area of the world, and is certainly an area to be thoroughly explored. However, taking the right precautions is always a must!
Food, water and camping gear aren't the only tools and goods you'll need to take with you on your DriveWA adventure.
Please read about the various safety precautions you and your family need to take, to ensure that your DriveWA holiday is a safe and happy one!
We also recommend you look at the WA Police Service website; in particular their Aids to Survival publication.This booklet has wonderful information. If you want to get yourself a hard copy they are available free from local Police Stations (subject to them running out so check early) or simply print the pdf and put it into your vehicle.
