Itinerary Builder Help Guide

 

Designing your own personalised DriveWA escape has never been so easy!

The ‘My Itinerary’ feature allows you to select your favourite points of interest and build your own itinerary - your way - in your time!

Follow these step by step instructions and plan your perfect DriveWA escape.
 

Step 1: Select the region you with to explore via the ‘Regions’ tab from the top menu bar.


Step 2: To browse Towns, Attractions, Food Places, Visitors Centres, Events, Accommodation, and Points of Interest in your selected region – simply click on the relevant tab located at the base of the ‘Highlights’ box in each region page.


Step 3: To add your favourite points of interest (e.g. town – Derby) click on the ‘Add to Itinerary’ icon, located below the details.

NB: you will notice your chosen Points of Interest accumulating in your ‘My Itinerary’ section, located on the right side of each page.


Step 4: Once you have selected all of the attractions, accommodation, towns etc you are interested in visiting, click ‘Finalise Itinerary’.


Step 5: On the Itinerary Details page enter the relevant details, including the itinerary starting point/address and the number of days you wish the itinerary to run over.


Step 6: Assign each of your Points of Interest to a specific day – by clicking the drop down menu stating ‘Please Select’

NB: you are able to add additional days to your itinerary by clicking ‘Add Day’ at the top of the itinerary day builder.

NB: you can rearrange the order of your Points of Interest within specific days. Simply click the up and down arrows located next to the information sign on each Point of Interest.


Step 7: Once you have arranged an itinerary to suit you can view the relevant driving directions by clicking ‘Driving Directions’ and then selecting the relevant day from the drop down menu.


Step 8: To finalise your DriveWA itinerary and print a summary click ‘Finalise & Print’

Did you know? If you are a Drive WA member you can save your itineraries and share them with others.

Login to your account to save your itinerary.

To share your itinerary with others select ‘Share itinerary with public’ – on the Itinerary Details page. 

To view other DriveWA member itineraries simply visit the ‘Itineraries’ page; select your search criteria (e.g. by region); and click search. It’s as simple as that!
