DriveWA would like to acknowlege the contribution of previous employees that have added their experiences to help make DriveWA an accurate and useful website for travellers.
Linda Guthrie, the Manager of the DriveWA Site 2002-2003, contributed dramatically to the website, as she assisted the CEO in the development of the website from its initial stages.
Linda formulated business plans in relation to the site and its overall goal and purpose. She also fulfilled the role of staff coordinator, and friend to all team members at DriveWA.
Linda was founder, Chairperson and Executive Co-ordinator of the Geraldton Seajazz Festival. A major festival in Geraldton celebrating the bounty of the Mid West region, together with a spectacular program of music and arts to attract a broad and diverse public. Linda also contributes to the Central West College of Tafe as a board member, appointed by the Minister. Linda was also a Board Member with the Geraldton Tourist Bureau for 4 years.
Linda’s previous experience with Hotel Management, Sales Promotions and Marketing ensured that she contributed a great deal to the website, and to Hospitality Inns in general.
Nikita Malane
Throughout 2003 and 2004, whilst completing a Bachelor of Communications Degree, marjoring in Advertising, Nikita Malane assisted in the development and editing of the DriveWA website, researching and creating Perth-specific itineraries, and editing existing itineraries to secure the literary integrity of the site in general.
After working within advertising, client service and marketing agency-based roles, Nikita joined the Messages On Hold Australia team in April of 2005, initially as an Audio Engineer, and then as a Copywriter. Her experience with the DriveWA website assisted in the development of her literary prowess, and she very much values the time she spent in her DriveWA role.
