Our Lady in Ara Coeli Church
In the centre of town you will find Our Lady in Ara Coeli Church (c. 1936). The legendary Monsignor Hawes designed this fascinating building with some influence from the Parish Priest of the time, Father Irwin.
This has led to the unusual mix of both Gothic and Byzantine styles which make the Church worth a visit on a tour of the town.
