Greenough is located on the coast just 4 hours drive north of Perth. It is still a very successful sheep and wheat district with a population of almost 12,000 people.

This rustic town is rich in culture, history, and picturesque ruins. Greenough was one of the first settlements in Western Australia. The Greenough Pioneers village is home to 11 stone buildings that serve as reminders of the once thriving pioneer community that used to occupy the land. Strolling through the village is to take a step back into yesteryear and explore the historical significance of those who occupied the town.
Notable points of interest are Clinch’s Mill, Gray’s Store, Convict Bridge, and Wesley Church. Close to the village of Greenough is Flat Rock, a famed surfing destination. Flat Rock beach is home to a number of State Surfing Championships each year. The destination is also ideal for those interested in swimming, snorkelling, and fishing.
