Darkan is a tiny village on the edge of the wheat belt. Darkan is an old Australian town with a lot of history and heritage. The 2.2 kilometre Darkan Heritage Trail meanders through the town, this is a beautiful trail. The town is proud of the Six Mile Cottage, 10 km out of the townsite, built early last century.
