Denmark is one of nature’s true wonders. Located 400kms south east of Perth, this town’s stunning environmental appeal is a key attraction. Denmark’s culture, art, and friendly atmosphere are further enchanted by its unique setting.

In a location where forest meets ocean, environmental care plays a pivotal role in this charming town. Denmark was awarded Australia’s Tidiest Town in 1998. Boasting a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere, the town caters to those looking to escape the flurry of the city. The municipal offers fantastic facilities to accommodate visitors; including gardens, picnic areas, barbeque facilities, and restaurants.

The Valley of the Giants is located close by, offering a magnificent experience to all visitors. The large red tingle trees tower majestically above the boardwalks; and provide visitors with the surreal experience of walking amongst “Giants”. Imagine walking 40 metres above the ground, as you marvel at the canopy of a beautiful tingle forest. For those tourists who don’t mind heights, the 600 metre long Tree Top Walk is a truly amazing experience.

Golf lovers, prepare for an enchanting experience. East of the town, you can enjoy beautifully scenic surrounds, as you tee off for 18 holes. But be prepared you will not be alone on the fairway; western grey kangaroo’s are known to laze around the course.

For wine lovers, Denmark can deliver. The Denmark wine region offers an abundance of local wineries, set amongst the lush vineyards and stunning backdrops. The area offers premium wines with distinctly recognisable characteristics unique to the region.

Pick up a bottle of Denmark’s finest and clink glasses as you watch the sun set over the striking southern ocean coastline. Take the time to stroll along one of the many trails whilst you marvel at the sheer expanse of the ocean. Denmark offers secluded beaches adorned with headland, rugged rocks, and rock pools.

For serious fishermen and novices alike, Denmark offers an array of fishing options. Cast a line off the rocks at Peaceful Bay or Elephant Rocks. For keen fishermen Denmark offers an abundance of launching facilities for ocean casting; or for exploring Wilson Inlet – known for its prawn population at certain periods in the year.

The Karri Forrest and surrounding hills of Denmark are a magnificent sight all year round. The Denmark countryside is blessed with spectacular beauty during wildflower season. Everyone will appreciate all that Denmark has to offer; for nature lovers Denmark is a sure treat.
