Add To Itinerary

Broome, bordered with sandy white beaches and pristine waters is a popular holiday destination 2237km north of Perth with a population of 13,717.

Broome is most famed for it amazing Cable Beach. This beach is of sheer expanse, spanning 22 kilometres of bleached white sand along the coast; and is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The radiant blue ocean is skirted by the glowing sand to form a picturesque image of natural beauty. Near to Broome and Cable Beach, visitors can visit the dinosaur prints of Gantheaume Point. The rugged red rocks, overlooking the ocean, hold the fossilised prints from prehistoric times.

Famous for its pearling - in the first decade of the twentieth century, Broome produced 80% of the world's Mother of Pearl shell.

Broome is the gateway to the magnificent Kimberley region. During March to October a natural phenomenon occurs where the moon's reflection in the water looks like a staircase to the moon. It is really beautiful and well worth experiencing if you are in Broome.

These days Broome welcomes over 100,000 tourists a year. Broome has an ideal climate from April to September and this makes it a popular tourist destination for those seeking some sun.
