Onslow

Onslow is a small coastal town of 700. Onslow is located 1,386km north of Perth and its main industries are fishing, a newly developed Solar Salt field, off shore oil and gas. Onslow is a place to fish and have relaxing, quiet holidays.

The ruins of the old town can still be seen. When the old town was re-stied all the portable buildings were moved, leaving the old stone and cement buildings such as the post office, police station, gaol, and hospital to be explored at the old location. Mackerel Islands are just 22km offshore and are renowned for the sport fishing.
