Gascoyne Junction lies at the junction of the Gascoyne and Lyons Rivers 951km north of Perth. The main industry is sheep farming.

The Gascoyne is best known for fishing, water sports and four wheel driving. The Gascoyne has no wet season so the coast waters are saved for swimming. It offers rare and beautiful scenery and experiences.

The Gascoyne Murchison Outback Pathways Guidebook paints a colourful picture of the region – its history, nature and its charismatic characters. The 178-page full colour guidebook follows the paths of three self-drive trails through the Gascoyne-Murchison – the Wool Wagon Pathway, Miners Pathway and the Kingsford Smith Mail Run.
