Suspension Bridge and Avon River
Arguably the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Australia crosses the Avon River next to the visitors centre. The bridge crosses over to Broome Terrace picnic area. This is a great spot to have a bite to eat; take some wonderful photo's; and view Northam's unique White Swans.
Along the Avon River you will expereince the beauty of the white swans, the only colony to breed naturally in Australia. The Avon River is a wonderful sight with some great picnic spots scattered along it.
