KARIJINI ECO RETREAT
KARIJINI NATIONAL PARK, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

An Ecologically Friendly & Environmentally Aware Retreat

Ideally located in the depths of the breathtaking Karijini National Park, awaits the new and unique Karijini Eco Retreat - the first and only permanent up-market, luxury accommodation in the Park! Offering quality accommodation and facilities, this much anticipated development is now open and ready to welcome you to a new world of environmentally friendly, affordable accommodation with a touch of luxury and a taste of genuine mateship and hospitality in outback Western Australia!

For turn by turn driving directions to Karijini Eco Retreat please click here.

The Karijini Eco Retreat offers comfortable, luxurious eco tents in a rugged outback setting, along with campsites featuring quality shared facilities including new toilets, showers and BBQ bush kitchens for self catering.

Please be aware that the temperatures in the Pilbara in December - February are extreme (40deg days) and the nights are just as hot. As this is our low season there will only be eight Deluxe Eco Tents (NO AIR CONDITIONING) and the Campsites (NON POWERED) open during this time.  We will also be closing our restaurant and bar how ever the kiosk will still be open selling a small range of items for these months. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

The accommodation facility is 100% owned by the local Gumala Aboriginal Corporation which in turn represents the collective interests of the three Aboriginal language groups Niapiali, Bunjima and Innawonga of the Pilbara region.  Visit www.gumala.com.au for further information.

Please note that entry fees apply to many WA national parks including Karijini National Park.  Passes are available for purchase at entry points to the park, the DriveWA online shop, the Department of Environment and Conservation or Karijini Eco Retreat itself.  It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure they obtain the relevant park pass.  There are a range of passes available for different holiday options.
